The Best Margarita Recipe In The World

Well, here it is. As promised, my recipe for the best margarita in the world. It’s really simple…

40ml tequila (experiment with different brands to find the one that works best for you)

25ml Cointreau

20ml freshly squeezed lime juice

Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake hard for a slow count of ten, and strain into a chilled margarita glass (see the photo above) with a salted rim.

Salting the rim: Rim the edge of the glass by rubbing a piece of lime on the outside rim of the glass (be careful not to get any lime on the inside of the rim), then dip the outside rim into a saucer of coarse sea salt.

And that’s it. Couldn’t be much simpler. If only they made them to this recipe in bars…
