Xbox 360 On The Big Screen

Xbox360

At the weekend, I was lucky enough to see some Xbox 360 game content being played through a super high-quality, high-definition three-chip DLP video projector; with the image being projected onto a fabulous, large (200 inch) reflective screen.

One word.

WOW!

If you have a large excess of spare cash, I cannot recommend this projector - a SIM2 C3X - highly enough - both for home cinema and for gaming.

SIM2 C3X

And, if the price tag for the projector isn’t enough to scare you off (it’s around £11,000 in the UK, and around $16,000 in the US), and you’re into movies, I recommend putting an anamorphic lens in front of it (around £4,000/$7,000). The projector can display anamorphic content in a mode that uses the surfaces of its DLP chips in their entirety. The results are way better than you’ll see in 98% of movie theatres.
